What are some romantic, affordable ideas for celebrating a first anniversary?

My girlfriend and I will be celebrating our first anniversary next week. I'm kind of at a loss for romantic ideas that are unique, and also reasonably affordable. We live in a small-ish town, so there isn't a whole lot we haven't done. What can I do?

if you can do what you did on your first date. Or if you can afford it go to a build a bear shop and make a personal stuffed animal take her to a nice restaurant or eat in and give her the stuffed animal.

We were so skint on our first wedding anniversary, dining out and fancy gifts were not an option. We built an amazing den in the front room, like you would do when you’re a kid – and filled it with cushions. we had fairy lights and some champagne and music and just snuggled up for the night chatting and, well, you know. I guess it’s the sort of thing she would either love or hate.

To celebrate your first romantic anniversary try to create an exclusive candle light dinning with a champagne no other persons involved just the two of you.
