Product Description
After living on the streets of New York City for over a decade, Logan Ellis admits her perceptions might be a little skewed. But twisted or not, there's a satisfying irony in watching a well dressed vampire stand in the middle of a ghetto alley, windblown trash scraping small circles near his feet. What she finds even more intriguing, is waiting for him to decide whether or not he's going to kill her. Kerestyan Nelek hasn't quite made up his mind. As the Lord of New York, he can't allow a homeless drug addict, whose memories are packed with knowledge of vampiric existence, to run free in his city. It's not the first time he's been in this situation with a human, it's just the first time in thousands of years he's come face to face with one who doesn't seem to care. And that's what makes the decision so damn difficult. What horrors would you have to witness before you went numb? How many years would it take for you to feel that way? What would it take to make you care again? Logan's answers are simple: the worst humanity has to offer, almost thirty...and something she never expected.

I bought this book because I loved the premise of the jaded Logan and the ancient vampire she manages to surprise. It is a great idea, but the book in my opinion has a couple of areas of improvement:
- My guess is that the writer simply didn’t have this resource at her disposal, but this book needed another round of really good editing, to focus the writing and to give the story a better flow.
- Being from New York, I felt that the book was written by someone who does not know New York beyond the very basic, although she pretends to know it. The sleazy back alleys seem like a carricature of 1980s New York, without any specifics. The writer does try to bring in details like Times Sq or Brooklyn, but because it is so haphazard, it actually makes the universe of the book less believable. Instead of castles far away, I would have loved more and better New York detail.

Eternal Seduction
I love dark paranormal urban fantasy or “realistic fantasy.” Ms. Turner delivers up a story that touches of things most of us don’t like to think of: the addicted homeless who live their sad lives day after day, and for whom there’s no (or little) happy endings. Our heroine is addicted to heroin, and has lived on the streets for 10 years. She’s detached from the rest of humanity, and does the best she can to stay alive. She’s smart and cynical, and unlike most smarmy paranormal fiction doesn’t find a cure-all when she meets the handsome, sexy, and lonely vampire who finds her intriguing. As other reviewers have commented, he does all the running, and she remains distant but a bit intrigued as well. My favorite kind of story!
The unique spin on this familiar story and the well-developed characters made this a book I couldn’t put down. On that basis I’d have given it a 5-star rating, but there were a couple of things that held me back. This book focused mostly on the characters initially, a good half to two-thirds of the book moving fairly slowly through the changes that both characters go through after they meet each other. This would have been fine with me, but almost as if an editor had ordered “Put some conflict in this thing!” a ‘conflict’ appears toward the end that felt a bit contrived. Not to mention a bit silly – frankly I wasn’t sure what all the flap was about and everyone’s reaction to the supposed betrayal seemed over the top compared to what had actually happened. So this was an awkward point for me.
I also thought that while a druggie heroine was a daring and disturbing plot point, some realism was sacrificed to make it more palatable to mainstream readers. My bottom line is a 4.5 star rating, which translates into a 4.0 since we don’t get to award half-stars!
I’m looking forward to reading the other books in this series. I hope that they pick up with Logan and Kerestyan’s story, because the ending in this book left a lot of territory to be explored. A guy who’s lived for 10k years and a gal who’s spent most of her life in trouble of one kind or another really deserves more coverage than just one book! And the secondary characters are delicious – definitely want more of them! Especially Big Daddy Vampire Stefan… If you like darker books that don’t follow a cookie-cutter formula, give this one a try.

Read this book upon reader recommendation and was not disappointed. Some of the dialog is just hillarious. I was LOL. If you like Sexy Vampires and a good storyline, You will love this book. Did I mention, Kerestyan is one Sexy Alpha Male. Can’t wait for the 2nd book in the series coming out this year.

I really enjoyed this new take on the vampire world, Eternal Seduction was a great read. The interesting story and many LOL moments easily outweighed the editing issues the Kindle version came with. Logan’s interactions with all those around her made this book for me. She was a unique and very likable heroine, which I found surprising given that she starts out as a homeless drug user. Kerestyan was a great hero in so many ways, and I really enjoy story lines where the hero falls hard and fast. Kerestyan’s brother, Odin, alone was worth reading this book for, he is hilarious! Just a few of the many reasons Eternal Seduction will remain on my keeper shelf.
I’ll be watching closely for the next release by this author.

Eternal Seduction
this book was very good. the female character was very out spoken, and the male character was very patient and firm when he had to be. there were some habits that the female character had that i didn’t like. but the book was still very interesting and held my attention. if you like vampire romance i think this book could fall under this category.
